Commander Simulator is a Roblox idle-style game where you build up your army, rank up your commanders, and push through waves of enemies to get stronger. It has that classic simulator loop where you’re always upgrading something, always chasing the next milestone. Still in Beta 1.0, so it’s rough around the edges, but there’s enough here to pull you in for a few hours.
What You Actually Do in Commander Simulator
The core loop is pretty simple. You deploy commanders to fight for you, earn coins from battles, and use those coins to unlock stronger units and upgrades. It’s the kind of game you can leave running while you do something else, but it rewards you more if you actually pay attention and make smart upgrade choices.
As you progress, you unlock new commander tiers and can rebirth to reset your progress for permanent boosts. The rebirth system is what keeps the grind going long-term. Without it, you’d hit a wall pretty fast and have nothing left to work toward.
There are also pets in the game that give you passive bonuses, which is pretty standard for Roblox simulators at this point. Getting rare pets makes a real difference to how fast you earn, so a lot of players focus on that early on.
The Good Stuff and the Not-So-Good Stuff
The theme is actually cool. Military and commander-style games don’t show up that often in the simulator genre, so it stands out a little. The progression feels satisfying when things are clicking, and unlocking a new commander tier genuinely feels like an achievement rather than just a number going up.
That said, this game is still in Beta 1.0 and it shows. There are balance issues, the early grind can feel slow, and the player count is on the lower side right now. It’s not a packed server experience. If you’re expecting a polished, bug-free game, you’ll probably be frustrated.
The devs are still actively working on it, which is either exciting or annoying depending on your patience level. If you get in early and enjoy watching a game grow, Commander Simulator is worth checking out. If you need a fully finished product, maybe bookmark it and come back in a few updates.
We keep an updated Commander Simulator Codes list if you want free coins and pets to skip some of the early grind. Codes get added and expire fast, so it’s worth checking before you start playing.
