Command An Army is a free Roblox team battle game. You lead a squad of soldiers into fights of up to 12 players, where one team attacks and the other defends. You win by taking or holding the capture points, then you spend your gems on new troops.

How to Play Command An Army
- Play the short tutorial. There is even a server just for players below level 10.
- Pick your own class. There are three: Sword and Shield, Assassin and Hammer.
- Choose to attack or defend, then lead your squad into the match.
- Give your troops orders, put them in formation and fight for the capture points.
- Spend the gems you earn on summons, then level, ascend and evolve your best troops.
Command An Army Gameplay and Strategy
Every troop type beats another one. Horse riders crush archers that are left alone. Spear troops stop horse riders, most of all when they hold a position. Shield troops block hits, but the Flame Archer’s fire burns right through shields.
To make a troop stronger, merge it with a copy of the same troop. This is called ascending. Each step adds 5 percent to its stats, up to 15 percent at Ascension III. Always put the troop you want to keep in the first slot. The troop in the second slot is gone for good.
Once a troop reaches mastery level 20, you can evolve it into the next troop on its line. Skill crystals then unlock its skill tree. There are five skill trees, and each troop can pick only one end skill, so choose with care.

The other 4-star troops are Spartan, Immortal, Berserker, Samurai, Myrmidon and Khorchins. Laestrygonians are the only 5-star troop. The Mongol troops from Update 3, Nökör, Bataar and Khorchins, come only from the 50-level battle pass. You cannot summon them.

The 5-star Laestrygonians are giants. Each one has about 1,111 health and hits for 190, but a squad is only 9 of them. A full Berserker squad deals about twice as much damage per second. Stars are not everything.

Command An Army Summons and the AFK Server
One summon costs 50 gems, and ten cost 500. The three troops on the banner have better odds, and the banner changes every 30 minutes. If you go 50 summons with no 3-star troop, the next one is a 3-star for sure. For a 4-star, that kicks in at 400.
Need gems while you are away? The AFK Server gives you a roll every 2 minutes. That is about 28 gems a roll, or 840 gems an hour on average.

A skill crystal shows up once in 1,000 rolls. At one roll every 2 minutes, that is about 33 hours of waiting on average.
Command An Army Ranks and Badges
Ranked matches have 25 steps. You climb from Warrior through Knight, Noble, Commander, General, Warlord, Conqueror and Overlord, each with levels I to III. Emperor sits at the very top.
The game also has three badges, all added on August 22, 2026. About 13.5 million players have the New Recruit badge for joining. About 5 million have First Victory, so roughly 37 out of every 100 have won a match. The Warlord badge asks for 1,000 wins, and only 36 players have it.

Pro adds a tag by your name, room for more guild members, a custom guild badge and more guild roles. It also gives 10 percent better luck in the AFK Server. Ascend All Troops still needs the copies, it just saves you the clicks.

The 2,500 gem pack says Best Value, but it costs the same per gem as the 1,000 pack. Only the 5,000 pack is cheaper. Skill crystals are pricey too: 10 cost 999 Robux, and the 50 pack saves you just 5 Robux.
Tips for New Command An Army Players
- Redeem every code first. The Command An Army codes give gems and skill crystals.
- When you ascend, check the slots twice. The troop in the second slot is lost.
- Keep spear troops close by when the other team brings horse riders.
- Park in the AFK Server when you step away. It pays about 840 gems an hour.
- Double-click a troop to mark it as a favorite, so you never delete it by mistake.
