Anime Squad Simulator is one of those games that pulls you in fast. You collect anime characters, build up a squad, and fight your way through waves of enemies to get stronger. It’s basically a power-scaling simulator wrapped in anime style, and if that sounds like your thing, you’ll probably sink way more hours into it than you planned.
How the Game Actually Works
The core loop is simple. You fight enemies, earn coins and gems, and use those to hatch new characters from eggs or upgrade the ones you already have. Your squad fights automatically, so a lot of the game is about finding the best characters and stacking their damage as high as possible.
Characters come in different rarities, and the rare ones hit way harder. You’ll spend a lot of time trying to pull something legendary from the gacha eggs, which feels great when it works and kind of painful when it doesn’t. There are also evolutions, so some characters can be upgraded into stronger forms if you grind enough materials.
The map has different zones with tougher enemies the further you push. Clearing zones unlocks new areas and better loot. There are also dungeons and boss fights that drop special rewards, so it’s not just mindless clicking in one spot the whole time.
What’s Fun and What Gets Old
The character variety is genuinely solid. There are tons of anime-inspired units to collect, and seeing your squad go from weak little guys to absolute damage machines is satisfying. The update history shows the devs have kept adding content, with new eggs, zones, and characters dropping regularly.
The grind gets pretty steep though. Getting top-tier characters without spending Robux takes a long time, and the egg rates for legendary pulls are brutal. If you’re f2p, be ready to spend hours farming just to afford one shot at a good egg. It’s not impossible, just slow.
The game still has an active player base and the servers are usually populated, which is a good sign. It’s not the most original concept on Roblox, but it does the simulator formula well enough that it stays fun longer than most. If you’ve bounced off similar games before, this one might actually stick.
