What the Potions Actually Do
This game keeps two separate numbers, and that is why there are two kinds of potion.
Speed is how fast your monkey moves, which decides how far along a stage you can get. Wins are what the pad at the end pays you, and wins are what you spend.
A speed potion gets you further. A win potion pays you more for the same run. If you are stuck early, the speed one helps more, because you cannot reach a pad you cannot reach.
Both run on a timer, so save them for when you are actually sitting down to play. The longest one on this page lasts an hour and the shortest lasts ten minutes.
A spin is the wheel, and it can land on wins, potions or charms.
Four Lists, Four Different Problems
Four lists carry codes for this game and every one is wrong in a different way.
The first is fine. Nine codes, exact rewards down to how long each potion lasts, rechecked the night before.
The second was refreshed six days ago and buries three codes the first one still calls live. It also gives every reward as the single word potions, so you cannot tell a ten minute one from an hour.
The third is the strange one. Its headline promises every active code. Underneath there is a table with a column for the code and a column for the reward, and no rows at all. It then tells you to use its copy button, and there is nothing to copy.
The fourth says this game has no code menu and no codes yet. It has nine codes and a code tab in its shop, which the other three describe.
The lesson is the same one every time. Look at the date on a code list, then look at whether it actually lists any codes, before you trust either.
The Code Names Are a Diary
Most of these codes are named after a number the game passed. Four of them count visits: 50 million, 80 million, 100 million and 300 million.
You can check all four yourself. The game stands at 480,825,411 visits. Every one of those four is behind that, and the largest is behind it by 180 million.
Two more count something else. CCU is the number of people inside a game at the same moment. There is a code for 250 thousand and a code for a million.
Those two you cannot check. Roblox shows you how many are playing right now, which is about 35,000, and it does not publish what the highest figure ever was. The code name is the only trace either way.
The last one is not a milestone at all. It is somebody’s name with a joke attached, and it works.
How to Redeem +1 Speed Monkey Escape Codes
1Open the game and let it load all the way in.

3Scroll right down to the bottom of the shop menu. The code box is the last thing in it.
4Paste a code into the box. Use the copy buttons above, because these are case-sensitive.
5Press Redeem. Your potion goes into your inventory rather than starting straight away.
6Start the potion only when you are about to play, because it runs on a clock.

The names answer that better than any promise could. Six of the nine are a number the game reached, so a new one turns up when the next big round number does.
Visits are the one you can watch. The last code was for 300 million and the game is at 480 million. The counter has already run a long way past the newest code on the list.
