Last Verified: August 2026 | Five codes worth trying, and a warning about the word NEW.
There are five Mini Cities 2 codes worth pasting this month and they pay in the three things this game actually runs on: development points, which unlock new buildings, plus coins and gems. All five are below with a copy button, sorted by how sure we are about them.
One warning before you start. Other lists for this game tag several of these codes as new, and at least one of those has since run out. That label is not telling you what you think it is, and the reason is worth two minutes of your time.
Active Mini Cities 2 Codes (August 2026)
These two are marked as working rather than untested, so start here. The train one pays into the development points that unlock buildings.
| Code |
Reward |
Action |
| LAST_TRAIN_HOME |
100 development points |
|
| BetaR3lease |
250 gems |
|
These three are listed but nobody has ticked them off as working yet. They cost nothing to try, so paste them anyway. The first one is the richest thing on the page.
| Code |
Reward |
Action |
| I_SURVIVED |
3,000 coins and 100 development points |
|
| CanWeBuildIt |
1,500 coins |

| 10kLIKES |
Gems, amount not agreed |

Codes are case-sensitive, so type them exactly as shown or use the Copy button. A code that has run out is simply rejected and nothing happens to your account.
Expired Mini Cities 2 Codes
One code has run out. We list it because you will find it elsewhere, still being called new.

Why the Word NEW Is Not a Date
This is the useful part of the page, and it will save you time on any game, not just this one.
Code lists like to put NEW next to a code. It reads as a promise that the code turned up recently, so it must be the one most likely to work.
It is nothing of the sort. That label gets typed when the page is written and then it sits there. One list for this game marks three codes as new on a page dated April 2025, which makes them sixteen months old.
And one of those three has since run out. It is the expired one above, still sitting under a NEW tag on the other page today.
So check the date on the page before you trust the word on the code. If the page has no date, the label means nothing at all.

How to Redeem Mini Cities 2 Codes
1Open the game and wait for your city to finish loading before you touch anything.
2Find the trophy button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3Open it and look for the text box near the bottom of that window.
4Paste a code in using the Copy button above rather than typing it out.
5Press enter. A working code pays out straight away and a dead one just does nothing.
What Development Points Are For
Three of these codes pay in development points, and they are the reward worth having.
The game keeps its buildings behind a development tree. You unlock new ones as you go rather than having everything from the start, and points are what move you along it.
Coins and gems are the other two. Coins pay for what you put down, and gems are the rarer of the pair.
A hundred points is not going to finish the tree for you. It is a decent nudge at the start though, and it costs nothing.
What You Get Without Paying or Redeeming
The whole development tree
Every building unlocks by playing. Nothing in it sits behind a purchase.
The terrain and block editor
The game page says you can build whatever you can think of with it, and it is free.
Curved roads you can place anywhere
Advertised on the game page as the headline new feature over the first game.
Traffic that actually drives
Your citizens use the roads you laid to get where they are going. Watching it is half the appeal.
When Do New Mini Cities 2 Codes Drop?
Read the names and a pattern shows up. One is called BetaR3lease and this game did run a beta, which ended around May 2024.
Another is called 10kLIKES, and the game passed ten thousand likes long ago. It now sits above fifty-four thousand, so that one was a milestone from early on.
So codes here arrive with events and milestones rather than on a schedule. The game is still being worked on and was updated three days before this page was written.
Scripts are the other thing people look for. Our Mini Cities 2 script page explains why there is not one, using this studio’s other game as proof.
