How to Play Build An Ant Empire
- Talk to the Ant Queen to roll eggs. At first she only gives you one Common egg.
- Buy the ant from its stand and place it in an empty slot in your nest.
- Your ants make boxes of food at the pickup spot. Carry them to the sell stand for cash.
- Spend cash on the upgrade boards: a bigger nest, more food value, faster ants, egg luck and more egg rolls.
- Level up the Ant Queen to unlock new, rarer ants, and keep growing your empire.
Build An Ant Empire Gameplay and Strategy
Your ants are the whole game. Better ants make food that sells for more, so new ants come first. Egg luck and egg rolls are some of the cheapest upgrades, which makes them easy to buy early. Keep some cash for the eggs, though. Rolling is free, but buying the ant is not.
Every upgrade costs more than the last one. Your nest starts with one free slot, and each new slot costs more too. The price you get for food also moves up and down. That is why the shop sells a pass that locks food at 2.5 times its price.
Some ants come with a mutation, which makes them work better. You can add a mutation yourself with a potion from the item shop. Potions are pricey, so save the best ones for your best ants. You can also train an ant to be your mount. Win or lose, that ant leaves your colony for good.
