Build a Gun Army is a game about setting things up and then leaving them alone. You get a plot, you buy a box, and a gun rolls out of it. You drop that gun down and it starts shooting the zombies without you. The game’s own page says the guns keep firing even when you are offline.
The game’s page does not tell you how many guns there are, what the tiers do, that rebirth exists, or that the money packs get worse the more you spend. All of it is real, and all of it is below.

How to Play Build a Gun Army
- Spawn on your own plot. There are six to a server, one each, so nobody can build on yours.
- Buy a box. A gun rolls out of it with its own cost and damage attached.
- Keep the roll or throw it away. Throwing it away is free and gets you another go.
- Drop the gun somewhere on your plot. From then on it fires at the zombies by itself.
- Start a wave when you are ready. Waves do not come on a timer here, somebody has to start them.
- Walk over the coins the zombies drop, then buy a better box with them.
- Rebirth once you have got far enough. It resets you for a permanent boost.
Build a Gun Army Overview: Guns, Rarities and Tiers
The game never says how many guns it has. Two tools built to play it for you both read the answer out of the game’s own gun data, and they agree. There are 42 guns, in seven rarity steps with six guns each.
One care point. The game stores a rarity as a plain number, not a name. Both tools put names to those numbers, and one of them quietly allows for numbers it has no name for. So seven steps is what two readers found, not a figure the studio has published.
The tiers are a second thing, apart from the rarity, and they are the part to get your head round. They multiply.
| Tier |
Damage |
What it means in practice |
| Normal |
x1 |
The plain version, and what you roll most |
| Shiny |
x2 |
Twice the plain one |
| Electric |
x5 |
Five times, so one of these beats two Shinies |
| Cosmic |
x15 |
Fifteen times, and the top of the four |
They multiply rather than add up, so one Cosmic gun does the work of fifteen plain ones of the same kind. That is why a small plot of good guns beats a packed plot of weak ones.
What a roll actually hands you
Every box gives you a gun with its own cost and its own damage attached, and a tier on top of that. Throwing one away costs nothing, so there is never a reason to keep a roll you do not like.

Build a Gun Army Gameplay: The Money Packs Get Worse as You Climb
The shop sells nine money boosts, from double up to a hundred times. Most games make the big packs the better deal. This one does the opposite, and one sum shows it.

Read the last column down the page. Doubling your money costs 12 Robux for the one extra step you gain. At the top of the ladder each extra step costs 68. That is more than five times worse, and not one rung along the way breaks the pattern.
So if you were going to buy one at all, the small ones are the good value and the big one is the worst deal in the shop. The top pack is 6,767 Robux, an oddly exact number for the biggest thing on the shelf.
The Three Unlocks, and Why Speed Is the Dear One
There are just three one-off unlocks, and all three went on sale the same day.
| Unlock |
Robux |
What it does |
| Auto Open |
29 |
Opens your weapon boxes for you |
| Auto Loot |
99 |
Picks up the coins for you |
| 2x Game Speed |
399 |
Runs the whole game at double speed |
Look at the order. Opening boxes is cheapest, picking up coins is next, and running the game faster costs more than the other two put together. In a game that plays itself while you are away, time is what is worth paying for, and the shop is priced like it knows.
Five more one-off buys sit beside the money packs, and two of them give away parts of the game the write-up never mentions.
| Item |

The rebirth skip is the tell
You cannot skip something that does not make you wait. A 199 Robux button for getting past rebirth is the clearest sign that rebirth has a real requirement behind it, and it went on sale five weeks after everything else in the shop.
Six Plots, and Waves Nobody Starts For You
A server here holds only six people, and there are six plots, so everyone gets one and nobody can build on yours. That is very small for a game this busy, and it is why there are so many servers running at once.
The other thing to know is that waves do not arrive on a clock. Somebody has to start one. So you are never rushed while you build, and a quiet plot is a choice rather than bad luck.
Tips for New Build a Gun Army Players
- Pick your coins up by walking over them. That is free, and the paid unlock only saves you the walk.
- Throw a bad roll away at once. It is free, so a weak gun is never worth keeping.
- Do the sum on the money packs first. The small ones are far better value per step than the big ones.
- Do not start a wave you cannot hold. Nothing forces you to, so build first and start it when your plot is ready.
- Remember the guns keep firing when you are not playing, so leaving is not the same as stopping.
- A higher tier of the same gun beats a pile of plain ones, because tiers multiply the damage rather than add to it.
Build a Gun Army FAQ
Does Build a Gun Army have codes?
No, and there is no code box in the game to type one into. Our codes page shows how we know and which five near-name games you are probably reading about.
How many guns are there?
Two separate automation tools read the game’s own weapon data and both come back with 42, arranged as seven rarity steps with six guns in each.
What do the tiers do?
They multiply a gun’s damage rather than adding to it. The four run at one, two, five and fifteen times, so a single high tier beats a stack of plain ones.
Is rebirth worth it?
It resets you for a permanent boost and it costs nothing once you reach the wave it asks for. The studio sells a 199 Robux skip, which tells you the wait is real.
Are there any badges to collect?
None at all. The game has never had a single badge, so there is nothing to chase on the side.
About Build a Gun Army
Build a Gun Army is made by Weapon Williamson, a Roblox-verified group of about 301,000 members. The account that owns the group carries a verified badge as well, and this is the only game the group has published. The group itself has nothing written on it and has never posted a message.
The game opened on 5 July 2026 and has passed 14.4 million visits, or roughly 209,000 a day. About 7,300 people are playing as this is written, and with only 6 to a server that is at least 1,215 servers running at once.
Players have voted it up 197,069 times and down 3,034. That is 98.5 in every 100 votes positive out of 200,000 cast, about as high as a game this size gets. It has 77,636 favorites, only about four for every ten votes, so people rate it and move on rather than save it.
