Tower of Hell has 17 halos. Six of them are open to you right now. The rest are shut, staff only, or gone for good.
This page lists every one and how you get it. It also shows how many players actually own each halo, using the real badge numbers Roblox publishes.
Those numbers are the part most lists skip. The rarest halo you can still earn is the Red Halo, and only 1,888 players have it.

How Rare Each Halo Really Is
Roblox shows how many players have won each badge. Four halos come with a badge, so those four can be counted for real instead of guessed.
To turn a count into odds you need something to compare it against. We used the Newbie badge, which you get for finishing your first tower. 65,286,421 players have it.
So the Red Halo sits at 1 in 34,580 of those players. Pink is 1 in 1,721, Teal is 1 in 699, and Carmine is 1 in 481.
A surprise in the badge numbers. More players have the Secret badge (92,167,703) than the Newbie badge (65,286,421). Bumping into one of the 29 secret sections is easier than finishing a full tower, so plenty of players get the trickier sounding badge first.
The Purple Halo Needs 8 Badges, Not 7
This is the one most guides get wrong. They list seven badges: Newbie, Pro, Mutated, Secret, Maxed, Collector and Explorer.
There are nine badges in Tower of Hell. The Purple Halo wants all of them except Certified Beast, and that makes eight. The one the old lists miss is Saboteur.
The slowest badge in that set is Maxed, which only 37,932 players have. So the Purple Halo cannot be owned by more than that many people, and everyone wearing a Purple Halo owns a Pink Halo too.

The Blue Halo: Buy It or Grind It
The Blue Halo is the odd one out. Of the six you can get, it is the only one with no badge, and the only one you can pay for.
There are two ways to get it. Robux boxes cost 9 Robux each and can drop it. Or you buy it straight from the Effect Stock for 1,200 Robux when it is in stock.
Box luck is worse than it looks. The Blue Halo sits in the Regal group, which has a 2% chance per box and holds 8 different effects. If each of those eight is equally likely, the Blue Halo itself lands at 0.25% a box.
The math, in one line. At 0.25% a box you need about 400 boxes on average, going by that split. That is 3,600 Robux. Buying it from the stock costs 1,200 Robux, so the shop price is about 3 times cheaper. If you want the Blue Halo, wait for the stock.
Box luck can still be kind. Some players get it in ten boxes. The point is that on average it costs far more than the shop asks.
Halos You Cannot Get Any More
Two halos are shut for good. Players who earned them still have them, but there is no way in now.

One more thing people call a halo. Obren’s Inferno gets listed with the halos, but it is not one. You can wear a real halo at the same time as it, which no halo lets you do. It was handed to a small group and 15 players had it before it was pulled.

What is the rarest halo in Tower of Hell?
Of the halos you can still earn, the Red Halo. Only 1,888 players have the Certified Beast badge that comes with it. The staff halos are rarer still, with some down to two owners, but nobody can earn those.
How do I get the Red Halo?
Play THE Tower of Hell and beat every section in it, then touch the white door at the top. You get the Red Halo and the Certified Beast badge together.
Can I trade halos?
No. Halos are effects tied to your account, and there is no trading in Tower of Hell. Any site offering to trade or sell you one is not telling the truth.
Do I keep a halo if it gets removed from the game?
Usually yes. The RB and Green halos stopped being handed out but owners kept them. The Orange and old Blue halos are the exception, and those were taken back.
Which halo is easiest to get?
Carmine. It needs one secret section rather than a long collection, and 135,753 players have it. Be in the server before the section appears, or it will not count.
