Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures is the official Sesame Street game on Roblox. You build your own Muppet, walk down the street, and stop to talk to Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Grover, Abby and Oscar. Five short minigames sit around the neighborhood, each one run by a different character, and playing them unlocks new parts for your avatar. A screen in the middle plays clips from the show.

How to Play Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures
- Make your Muppet first. The maker has rows of faces, noses, hair and clothes, and you can change all of it later for free.
- Walk down the street and look around. The brownstone steps, Hooper’s Store and Oscar’s trash can are all where the show puts them.
- Talk to the characters. Six of them answer, and the guide voice walks you through what to do.
- Play a minigame. There are five, each hosted by a different character, and they take a couple of minutes each.
- Collect the points they pay out. Points are what unlock new avatar parts, so playing is the only way to get them.
- Check Big Bird’s mailbox. Characters send letters there, and those letters feed the sticker book.
- Use the doors to the other two Sesame Street games when you have had enough of the street.
Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures Gameplay: Stickers and Minigames
The loop is gentle on purpose. There is no timer, no lives and nothing to lose. You wander, you talk, you play a minigame, and things fill up.
The sticker book is the long game. It runs into the hundreds, and stickers come from playing and exploring rather than from any shop. Filling it is the closest thing here to a grind.
Your Muppet is the other half. The show calls these Anything Muppets. They are the plain background characters that get a new face and hair each time. Points from the minigames unlock more parts for yours.
A visit lasts under six minutes on average, and servers hold 10 people but usually run about 7. It is built for short drop-ins rather than long sessions.

Each one is short and none of them can be failed in a way that costs you anything. They are the entire unlock system, so a slow afternoon of minigames is what fills the avatar list.
What It Costs, And What Is Free
Nothing inside the game costs money. It has no gamepasses at all, which for a game with 28 million visits is worth saying twice.
On the Roblox avatar shop, Sesame Workshop does list eight items. Three are free: a Cookie Monster cap, an Elmo anniversary beanie and a Sesame Street soccer jersey. The beanie is the most popular of the lot.
The other five are shoulder buddies at 55 Robux each, one in each color, and they belong to the sister game rather than this one. That is the whole shop, and 275 Robux buys every paid item the brand has on Roblox.

The oldest one is the odd case. Mecha Builders came out in 2022 and was made by a different studio. It holds three times the visits of this one. It was updated on the exact day the neighborhood opened, which is when it was joined to the new hub.
Ratings tell a story across the three. This one sits at about 80 percent likes, the beastie game at 70, and the oldest at 57. None of them is loved the way a big Roblox hit usually is.
The Reading Game Nobody Has Seen
Sesame Workshop keeps 28 places on Roblox and only two of them are open to the public. The other 26 are workshops, and their names say what the studio has been building.
Eleven are named after single developers. Six more are named after one minigame each, including a pinata smash and a fishing game that never came out. Three of them are about phonics, which is how kids are taught to read.
The first phonics place was made in January 2025, months before the neighborhood opened. One of them was touched again a week before this page was written, so whatever it is, it has not been abandoned.
Those workshops also date the build. They start in January 2025 and the game opened in October. That is at least eight months of work you can see from outside.
How Busy It Is Now
The record is 20,136 players at once, set on 31 January 2026, about four months after launch. It runs around 1,200 today.
Today’s number sits close to the best day of the last month, which was 1,851. So this game has levelled off rather than kept sliding. Most games do not do that a year in.
Codes and Scripts

Tips for New Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures Players
- Do a lap of the street before anything else. It is small, and knowing where each character stands saves time later.
- Play all five minigames once. They pay the points that unlock avatar parts, and each takes a couple of minutes.
- Check the mailbox every visit. Letters turn up there and they feed the sticker book.
- Claim the three free avatar items from the Roblox shop. They cost nothing and work in any game.
- Change your Muppet whenever you like. Nothing is locked once you have unlocked it.
- Try the other two games through the doors. One is a beastie hunt and one is a single player builder.
- Do not go looking for codes. There is no box for them, and any list you find is invented.
