Dont Wake Grandma is a sneaking game with one rule. The house is dark, Grandma is asleep somewhere in it, and the snacks are in the kitchen fridge. Your job is to carry one back to your bed without making a sound, and if she wakes up, you run. A round takes about five and a half minutes and it can end in the first thirty seconds.
This page covers how the round works and what is in the fridge, how busy the game is now against its record, and the two things this game does not have that almost every other game its size does.

How to Play Dont Wake Grandma
- Look around the room you start in before you move. The house is dark and knowing where your bed is saves you the whole trip back.
- Tiptoe. Moving quietly is the entire game, and rushing across a room is what wakes her.
- Head for the kitchen fridge. That is where the snacks are, and it is the one place everybody has to visit.
- Take one snack. Chips, pizza, a burger, a hot dog, a cookie, water and a Bloxiade all count the same.
- Carry it back to your bed. This is the half that goes wrong, because you already know the route is clear and you get brave.
- Freeze if Grandma stirs. Standing still is usually better than sprinting, until she is actually up.
- Run for it if she wakes. At that point quiet no longer matters and only distance does.
Dont Wake Grandma Gameplay: The House, The Fridge and The Run
The whole game is one loop and it never grows into anything else. Sneak out, take a snack, sneak back. There is no level to grind, no upgrade to save for and no boss at the end of it.
What changes is the risk. Up to 20 people share the house, and every one of them is also creeping around trying not to be the one who wakes her. Somebody always is.
That is why a busy server can be easier than a quiet one. When she goes after somebody else, the rest of the house gets a free run at the fridge.
The fridge holds the same handful of things every round: chips, pizza, a burger, a hot dog, a cookie, water and a Bloxiade. None of them is worth more than another, so the nearest one is always the right one.
The Game That Keeps No Score
Here is the honest answer to the question everybody asks about a game like this. How many players actually pull it off? Nobody can tell you, and that includes us.
Almost every Roblox game hands out badges. One for joining, one for your first win, one for reaching some milestone. Those badges are public, so anybody can look up how many people earned each one and work out the drop-off.
This game has none. Not one badge, in eight months and 195 million visits. So there is no scoreboard to read, no completion rate to quote, and any page telling you what percentage of players win is making it up.
It sells nothing either. No passes, no coins, no upgrades. Everybody in the house has exactly what you have, which is quiet feet and a plan.

The shape of that is worth understanding. This game went off like a rocket over the winter, peaked at more than twenty thousand players at once in its third month, and has settled down a long way from that.
Settled is not the same as dead. Around a thousand people are in the house at any moment, and the game still picks up hundreds of thousands of visits a week.
The Studio Behind It
It is made by Sneaky Squad, a verified group with about 2.5 million members. This is the only game they have published.
They keep three more places out of sight: a maps workshop, a small test place and one named for an avatar type, all with almost no visits between them. That is a studio building for one game rather than spreading out.
The game itself is split into two parts, the lobby you land in and the house you sneak around, which is why the loading between rounds is so quick.
Codes and Scripts
There are no codes, and our Dont Wake Grandma codes page explains why that is structural rather than an oversight. With no shop and no currency, a code would have nowhere to land.
There are no working scripts either. Our Dont Wake Grandma script page shows what the four folders carrying this game’s name actually hold, which is two files copied between them.
Tips for New Dont Wake Grandma Players
- Learn your bed first. Every trip ends there, and hunting for it with a snack in your hands is how rounds are lost.
- Walk, do not sprint. Speed is the loudest thing you can do in this house.
- Let somebody else go first. In a busy server there is usually a volunteer, and she chases whoever she hears.
- Take the nearest snack. They all count the same, so crossing the kitchen for a better one is a wasted risk.
- Stop when she stirs. Standing still beats running in the seconds before she is properly awake.
- Plan the way back, not just the way there. The return trip is where most runs fall apart.
- Play a few rounds in a row. At five and a half minutes each, the house gets familiar fast.
Dont Wake Grandma FAQ
Does Dont Wake Grandma have codes?
No. It has no code box, and no shop or currency for a code to pay into. Any list you find under this name is invented.
What snacks are in the fridge?
Chips, pizza, a burger, a hot dog, a cookie, water and a Bloxiade. They all count the same, so take whichever is closest.
How many people finish a round?
Nobody can say. The game hands out no badges at all, so there is no public record of wins or losses to read.
Is there anything to buy?
No. It has no gamepasses, which is unusual for a game with more than 195 million visits.
How many players are in a server?
Up to 20, and normally about 9. A fuller house can actually be safer, because she chases whoever wakes her.
Who made it?
A verified group called Sneaky Squad. Dont Wake Grandma is the only game they have published.
Is it still being updated?
The last update landed on 22 July 2026. The game opened in December 2025 and reached its record player count in March.
