Swing Tower is a climbing game on Roblox where your only tool is a rope. You double jump to fire it. Then you swing from one wooden plank to the next, working your way up a tower with nothing underneath you. Miss a swing and you fall, and a bad fall can put you back on the ground you started from. It opened at the end of November 2025 and has passed 147 million visits.
This page covers the three worlds and how many people have reached each one. It also covers what Cash and Wins are for and the four things the shop sells. Last comes the free checkpoint offer that built one of the biggest groups on Roblox.

How to Play Swing Tower
There is no tutorial and there is nothing to learn except the rope. Here is the whole game in order.
- Take the free checkpoint before you start. Like the game, favorite it, join the Swing Games group, then rejoin.
- Jump once, then jump again in the air. That second jump is what fires your rope.
- Aim at the plank above you rather than the one next to you. The rope pulls you up as well as across.
- Let the swing finish before you jump again. Cutting it short is what drops most people.
- Keep going up until the top of World 1. Reaching it unlocks World 2, and there is no other way in.
- Spend the Cash you pick up on rope skins. They change how your rope looks and nothing else.
- If you fall past your checkpoint you start that stretch again. Nobody gets through without doing this a lot.
Swing Tower Gameplay: The Rope, Cash and Wins
The rope is the whole game. It fires on your second jump, sticks to whatever is above you, and swings you forward. You have no speed boost, no double jump upgrade and no ledge grab. If you get higher, it is because you swung better.
Falling is the other half of it. There is nothing soft under the tower, so a miss near the top can cost you a long climb. That is what makes a checkpoint the most valuable thing in the game. It is also why the maker hands one out free rather than selling it.
There are two piles of money. Cash is what you pick up as you climb and it buys rope skins. Wins are what you get for finishing a stretch, and they are the count of how far you have got. The VIP pass doubles both, which is the only thing the shop sells that speeds up either one.
A typical visit here lasts just under six minutes. That is not a criticism of the game, it is the shape of it. You drop in, you try the same jump a dozen times, and you either beat it or you close it.
The Three Worlds, and How Far People Really Get
This game keeps four badges and they line up perfectly. One is handed to you for joining, and the other three are handed out for reaching each world. All four were made on the same day, so none of them had a head start. That makes the comparison a fair one.
| Badge |
People who have it |
Out of everyone who played |
| Played Swing Tower |
54,847,854 |
Everybody. This one is handed to you for turning up, so it is the number to measure the rest against |
| World 1 |
54,754,813 |
About 99.8 in every 100. World 1 is where you start, so this one lands as soon as you join |
| World 2 |
2,400,525 |
About 4 in every 100. This is where the game stops most people |
| World 3 |
356,119 |
About 6 in every 1,000. Roughly one in seven of the players who saw World 2 |
Read that middle row again. More than 54 million people have played Swing Tower. Fewer than two and a half million of them have ever seen World 2.
That works out at about one player in twenty three getting out of the first world. World 3 is even steeper, at roughly six players in every thousand who ever join.
It is not an old game being remembered wrong, either. In the most recent day on record, 74,348 people played, 3,412 unlocked World 2 and 599 unlocked World 3. That is the same shape as the all time numbers, so the tower is just as hard today as it always was.
One thing to keep in mind about the join badge. It was added a month after the game opened. Anyone who played in those first weeks and never came back is not counted in it. The real number of players is higher than 54 million, not lower.

What You Can Buy
Four things, and 318 Robux buys all of them. Every one went on sale in the first week of December 2025 and none has been taken down since.
| Item |
Price |
What it does |
| Super OP Push Tool |
129 Robux |
A stronger version of the push tool |
| OP Gravity Coil |
80 Robux |
Makes you lighter, so a missed swing is more forgiving |
| VIP |
79 Robux |

| Push Tool |
30 Robux |
Lets you shove other players off the planks |
Two of the four are the same push tool at two prices. A push tool does nothing for your own climb, since all it does is shove somebody else off a plank. In a game where a fall costs you everything, that turns out to be what sells.
The gravity coil is the one that helps you. It makes you lighter, so a swing that comes up short does not always end with you on the ground. The VIP pass is the pick if you want rope skins sooner.
The Free Checkpoint That Built a Ten Million Member Group
The last line of the game’s own description is an offer. Like the game, favorite it and join the group, and you get one checkpoint. It is the single best thing you can do before your first climb.
Look at what it has done for the maker. The Swing Games group was created on the same day as the game. It holds this one game and nothing else, and it now has 10.2 million members.
The favorite count matches almost exactly at 10.6 million. Set that against about 72,000 votes. That is roughly 148 favorites for every single vote, and no game gets a gap like that from people simply liking it.
For scale, the parent studio’s own group has about 1 million members and no games in it at all. The group for this one tower is about ten times the size of the company that owns it.
How Busy It Is Now
On 28 February 2026 there were 11,858 people in Swing Tower at the same moment. That is still its record.
Two weeks later the game got its last update, and nothing has changed in it since March 2026. Today it holds between one and two thousand players at a time. That is a long way down from the record, and still a crowd most games never see.
The name has never changed either. Many games rewrite their own title every month to advertise an update. This one has been called Swing Tower and nothing else since the day it opened.
Codes
There are none, and there never have been. There is no box to type one into. Our Swing Tower Codes page covers the free checkpoint offer instead, which is the only thing this game gives away.
Who Makes Swing Tower
A group called Swing Games, which has this one game and nothing else. The group itself does not carry a check mark, though the account that owns it does.
It is one of a set. The same studio runs a string of groups, each one built for a single game and renamed to match it when that game launches. This one was called something else before Swing Tower existed. The parent studio group is the smaller of the two by a mile.
The rest of the family has not held up as well. The next biggest game in the set has passed 94 million visits and now runs a few dozen players at a time. Swing Tower is the one that stuck.
Tips for New Swing Tower Players
- Claim the free checkpoint before your first climb. Like, favorite, join the group, rejoin. It costs nothing and it is the biggest single change you can make.
- Fire the rope late rather than early. Most falls come from a second jump pressed too soon, not from a bad aim.
- Aim above you, not across. The rope carries you up, so picking the higher plank saves you a swing.
- Do not buy a push tool to climb faster. It only pushes other players and does nothing for your own run.
- Get the gravity coil if you are going to buy anything. It is the only item in the shop that makes falling less likely.
- Expect to be stuck at the top of World 1. Fewer than five people in a hundred ever get past it, so that wall is the game, not you.
- Play with a full server if you can. Watching somebody else make a jump is the fastest way to work out the timing.
Swing Tower FAQ
How many worlds are there?
Three. Each one unlocks by reaching the top of the one before it, and there is no way to skip ahead.
How do I get a checkpoint for free?
Like the game, favorite it, and join the Swing Games group, then rejoin. That is the offer in the game’s own description.
How hard is it really?
About four players in a hundred have ever unlocked World 2, and about six in a thousand have unlocked World 3.
What is Cash for?
Rope skins. They change how your rope looks and nothing else, so there is no wrong thing to buy.
What does the VIP pass do?
It doubles the Cash and the Wins you earn, for 79 Robux. It is the only thing in the shop that speeds up either one.
Is the push tool worth it?
Not for climbing. All it does is shove other players, so it does nothing for your own run up the tower.
Are there codes?
No, and there never have been. The free checkpoint offer is the only giveaway this game has.
Are there scripts for it?
The only one written for this game stopped working when its file was taken down. Our script page explains what happened.
Is it still being updated?
No. The last change landed in March 2026, two weeks after the game hit its record player count.
