Last Updated: August 2026 | Upgrades, shop and boosts checked against the live game.
Clone Engine is a simulator about building a line of copies of yourself. You spawn one clone, then another, and before long a queue of them is trailing behind you everywhere you walk. Cash ticks up while you play and pays for all of it.
There is no fighting and no scoreboard, and servers hold six people. It opened in June 2024 and has passed 371 million visits since. This page covers the upgrades, the shop, the two boosts the game gives away free, and the one number about this game that stands out.

How to Play Clone Engine
Getting started takes seconds. Deciding what to upgrade is the only real choice.
- Join the CC Super Fun group before you play. It is free and it is the biggest boost available.
- Spawn your first clones. They follow you in a line and copy what you do.
- Let the cash build. It arrives on its own rather than being collected.
- Buy more clones first. A longer line earns faster, so it pays for itself.
- Then upgrade speed, and leave jump height until last.
- Walk the course. The playground is there to make the trailing line look good going over things.
How a Round Works
Six things describe this whole game, and not one of them is a level or a score.
| Part |
What it is |
How it works |
| Clones |
The whole game |
Spawn copies of yourself and they follow you in a line wherever you walk. |
| Cash |
Ticks up on its own |
You do not collect it. It builds while you play and pays for everything. |
| Upgrades |
Size, speed, jump |
Three upgrade tracks plus the number of clones you are allowed. |
| Obstacles |
A playground |
The map is a course to walk your line of clones around. |
| Server size |
6 players |
The smallest of any game covered here. Almost a solo game. |
| Free boosts |
Group and paid |
Joining the group gives 25 percent more cash and 10 more clones, free. |
The last row is the one most people miss. Joining the group is free, takes one click and permanently raises what you earn, and the game states it on its own page.

Clone Engine Gameplay: One Number Here Is Very Unusual
Roblox counts how many people favourite a game. This one has been favourited more than 42 million times against 371 million visits, which works out at about one favourite for every nine visits. That is far ahead of anything else we have measured.
| Game |
Favourites per visit |
For comparison |
| Clone Engine |
1 in every 9 |
This game. Around one visit in nine ends with somebody favouriting it. |
| A shooter |
1 in every 27 |
The next closest we have measured, on a 370 million visit game. |
| A gun builder |
1 in every 271 |
A very well liked game, and still thirty times behind this one. |
| A street game |
1 in every 387 |
Another big open world game with a strong rating. |
| A sandbox |
1 in every 1,963 |
The other end of the scale, for comparison. |
Measured a different way it is even starker. About 168 million players hold the badge for playing, so roughly one player in four who has ever loaded this game has also favourited it.
There is a second half to that though, and it matters. The game asks for it directly. Its own page says to like the game for new stages and to follow it for updates, so a good share of those taps were prompted rather than spontaneous.
Both things are true at once. The number is real and it is enormous, and the game worked for it. Worth knowing either way, because a favourite count is often treated as a pure popularity score when it is not always one.
What The Shop Actually Sells
There are twelve passes and every single one of them is on sale, with nothing sitting switched off in the background. Prices run from 79 Robux up to 1,245.
| Item |
Price |
What it is |
| Infinite Cash |
1,245 Robux |
The most expensive item, and it removes the limit the whole game is built on. |
| Infinite Clones |
799 Robux |
The other one that ends the game. Spawn as many copies as you want. |
| Laser Gun |
645 Robux |
A toy your clones carry too, which is most of the appeal. |
| Rocket Launcher |
399 Robux |
Same idea at a lower price. |
| Huge Clones |
249 Robux |
Unlocks a size upgrade ten times bigger than the normal one. |
| Rainbow Clones |
249 Robux |
Gives the line behind you a rainbow glow. Looks only. |
| x2 Cash |
199 Robux |
Doubles the cash that ticks up while you play. |
| Sword |
199 Robux |
Another item for you and every clone behind you. |
| x2 Speed |
129 Robux |
Doubles your speed on top of whatever speed upgrade you have bought. |
| x2 Jump Height |
79 Robux |
The cheapest thing in the shop, and it works the same way. |
Most of them are ordinary. Double cash, double speed, double jump, a few toys and two ways to change how your clones look. Two of them are not ordinary at all.
Infinite Clones costs 799 Robux and Infinite Cash costs 1,245, and those names are literal rather than a boast. Between them they remove both limits the game is built around. That is worth a pause before buying, because what is left afterwards is a game with nothing to work towards.
Codes
This game has none, and there is no box to type one into. It does give away two permanent boosts for free instead, and the better of the two is completely free. Our Clone Engine Codes page covers both.
Who Makes Clone Engine
It comes from a group called CC Super Fun, which has more than 7.7 million members. The game opened in June 2024 and was last updated in July.
It has passed 371 million visits and been favourited over 42 million times. About 94 in every 100 votes on it are likes, and the group behind it is one of the largest on Roblox.
Tips for New Clone Engine Players
- Join the CC Super Fun group before anything else. The game says members get 25 percent more cash and 10 extra clones, and it costs nothing.
- That free group boost gives twice the extra clones that the paid monthly route does, so do it even if you already pay.
- Spend your first cash on more clones rather than size. More clones is what makes the cash come in faster.
- Upgrade speed before jump height. You spend far more time walking your line around than jumping with it.
- Bring friends in. The game says inviting people gives you a boost too.
- The cheapest pass is 79 Robux and the dearest is 1,245, so read what you are buying before you spend.
- Think twice about Infinite Cash. Removing the limit removes most of the game with it.
- There are no codes for this game and no box to type one into, so do not go hunting for a list.
Clone Engine FAQ
How do you play Clone Engine?
You spawn clones that follow you in a line. Cash ticks up while you play and you spend it on size, speed, jump height and more clones.
How do you get more clones in Clone Engine?
Upgrade the clone count with cash, and join the group. The game says group members get 10 extra clones and 25 percent more cash for free.
Does Clone Engine have codes?
No, and there is no box to type one into. The two boosts it does give out are for joining the group and for paying Roblox monthly.
Is the group boost or the paid one better?
The free group boost. It gives 10 extra clones against 5 for the paid route, and both give the same 25 percent extra cash.
Is there a Clone Engine script?
No, and one has never existed. Servers hold six people with nothing to compete over, and the shop already sells infinite cash outright.
How many gamepasses are there?
Twelve, and all twelve are on sale. They run from 79 Robux up to 1,245.
Is Infinite Cash worth buying?
It costs 1,245 Robux and removes the limit the whole game is built around, so it ends the thing you came to do. That is a decision worth sitting on.
Why does this game have so many favourites?
It has over 42 million, about one for every nine visits. Part of that is how much people like it and part is that the game asks players to like it on its own page.
How many players are in a server?
Six.
