100 Days At Sea

Last Updated: August 2026  |  Badges, day timings and codes checked against the live game.

100 Days At Sea drops you on a wooden raft in the middle of the ocean with a harpoon and a bonfire. You hook what floats past, build the raft outwards, and fight off what comes in the dark. The job is to last a hundred days.

Almost nobody does. More than 77 million people have played it and just over a million have ever been rescued. This covers how the day clock really works, what a full run costs you in real hours, and the exact point where most people stop.

How to Play 100 Days At Sea

Nothing starts until you decide it does, and that is the first thing worth knowing.

  1. Hook the debris floating past with your harpoon. Wood and scrap are what everything else is made from.
  2. Build your raft outwards. More floor means more room for a workbench, walls and defences.
  3. Light the bonfire when you are ready. The day counter does not start until it reaches 100 percent, so you can gather first without any pressure.
  4. Survive the night. Days are three minutes, nights are a minute and a half, and the things that hurt you come in the dark.
  5. Sail out to the islands once you can. That is where the chests, the bosses and the better gear are.

100 Days At Sea Gameplay: What 100 Days Actually Costs

Here is the number nobody tells you before you start. A day lasts three minutes and the night after it lasts another minute and a half. That is four and a half minutes per day.

A hundred of those is 450 minutes. Seven and a half hours in one sitting, if your day counter is moving at the normal rate.

The way out is the day multiplier. It starts at one, so one night equals one day, and you can raise it so the counter jumps further each night. Anyone you see finishing a run quickly has been building that multiplier up, not playing faster.

Where Players Actually Stop

The game hands out a badge at every milestone, and because everybody gets one for joining, those badges add up to an exact picture of how far people get. 77,949,735 players have started. Here is what happened to them.

Milestone Players Share, and how many carried over
Day 1 55,214,706 70.83% of all players. 70.8% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 5 36,816,006 47.23% of all players. 66.7% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 10 21,089,541 27.06% of all players. 57.3% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 20 9,565,098 12.27% of all players. 45.4% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 30 5,528,443 7.09% of all players. 57.8% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 40 3,877,008 4.97% of all players. 70.1% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 50 2,582,302 3.31% of all players. 66.6% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 60 1,911,829 2.45% of all players. 74.0% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 70 1,566,387 2.01% of all players. 81.9% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 80 1,340,062 1.72% of all players. 85.6% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 90 1,189,498 1.53% of all players. 88.8% of the previous milestone got this far.
Day 100 1,098,119 1.41% of all players. 92.3% of the previous milestone got this far.

Two things stand out. Almost three in ten players never survive their first day at all, and only 1.41 percent of everyone who has ever played has been rescued.

The real wall is day 10 to day 20. Only 45 percent of the players who reach day 10 make it to day 20, which is the steepest drop anywhere in the run. That is where the game gets hard faster than you get stronger.

Push past it and the curve turns around completely. Every milestone after day 30 keeps more people than the one before, and by day 90 more than nine in ten go on to finish. If you can survive three weeks, you will probably survive a hundred days.

The Rarest Things in 100 Days At Sea

There are 61 badges. Most are day milestones, and the rest are the ones almost nobody has.

Badge Players How rare, and what it takes
We Need To Cook 0 Nobody has it. Discover every potion recipe. Nobody ever has.
The Corruption Consumes 366 0.000% of players. Reach a 20x multiplier from the corruption.
Get Off My Planet 951 0.001% of players. Kill 1,000 aliens.
Challenge 6 1,793 0.002% of players. Clear the sixth tier of challenge mode.
Bonfire Master 20,828 0.027% of players. Max the bonfire before day 3.
Gone Missing 27,820 0.036% of players. Reach day 500.
Plunderer 29,608 0.038% of players. Open 100 chests in one run.
And they were crewmates… 40,536 0.052% of players. Survive 100 days in a full group of five.
Magellan 51,038 0.065% of players. Visit every island in one session.
Stranded 108,484 0.139% of players. Reach day 250.

The one at the top is the strangest thing in this game. We Need To Cook asks you to discover every potion recipe, and not one player has ever done it. Not a rare few. Zero.

Below that, only 366 players have pushed the corruption to a 20x multiplier, and 951 have killed a thousand aliens. There are also badges for day 250 and day 500, so the run does not actually stop when you are rescued.

Pearls, Classes and What Carries Over

Pearls are the currency that survives your death. They buy classes, companions and permanent upgrades, and those stay with you into the next run, which makes them the only thing in the game that stacks up over time.

Since the wall is at day 10 to day 20, spend them on whatever helps early. An upgrade that shines at day 80 is worth nothing to a run that ends at day 14.

The quickest Pearls are free. Our 100 Days At Sea Codes page has the working ones, and each pays 20.

Who Makes 100 Days At Sea

It is made by a verified Roblox group called Stranded Devs. The game opened in November 2025 and passed 254 million visits inside nine months, which is unusually fast.

The game page credits its inspiration openly, naming 99 Nights In The Forest as the game it came from. It is also one of the highest rated big games on the platform, with 97 of every 100 votes being likes.

Tips for New 100 Days At Sea Players

  • Light the bonfire when you are ready, not the moment you spawn. The day counter only starts once it hits 100 percent, so you can gather in peace first.
  • Spend Pearls on things that help in the first three weeks. That is where runs actually end, and Pearls carry over between attempts.
  • Look for the day multiplier. At the base rate a hundred days is seven and a half hours, and raising the multiplier is the only thing that shortens it.
  • Get through day 20 and the game starts helping you. Every milestone after day 30 is easier to survive than the one before it.
  • Play in a group if you can. There is a badge for finishing in a full group of five and only 40,536 players have it.
  • Do the codes before you start a serious run. They pay Pearls, they are free, and Pearls are permanent.

100 Days At Sea FAQ

How long does 100 days take?

About seven and a half hours at the base rate, because each day and night together is four and a half minutes. Raising the day multiplier is the only way to shorten it.

How many people actually finish?

1,098,119 out of more than 77 million who have played. That is about one in seventy one.

Where do most players die?

Between day 10 and day 20. Only 45 percent of the players who reach day 10 make it to day 20, the steepest fall in the game.

What are Pearls for?

Classes, companions and permanent upgrades. They carry over between runs, so they are the only thing that makes your next attempt easier.

Does it have codes?

Yes. Five are confirmed working and each pays 20 Pearls. The codes button is in the top left corner of the screen.

What is the rarest badge?

We Need To Cook, which asks you to discover every potion recipe. Nobody has ever earned it, not one player.

Does anything happen after day 100?

Yes. There are badges for day 250 and day 500, so the run keeps going after you are rescued.

Are there gamepasses?

No. The game has no gamepasses at all.
