You need money for a house in Bloxburg, and a job is how you get it. So the first thing everyone asks is which job pays the most.
The honest answer surprises people. All 14 jobs pay the same amount per minute, and they have done since 2024.
This page shows every job and where to sign up. It also covers what each one hands you as you level it, and the things that really do change your paycheck.
The quick answer
There are 14 jobs spread across 11 places in town. Pick whichever one you enjoy, because the pay rate is the same everywhere.
The short version. Update 0.12.6 on April 25, 2024 added, in the game’s own words, “Added equal pay across all jobs”. Since then no job out-earns another per minute. What raises your pay is your Total Work Experience level, how fast you work, your moods, school, and one gamepass.
Levelling a job to 10 also pays out $60,600 and 500 Blockbux in bonuses. Do that for all 14 and you collect $848,400 and 7,000 Blockbux.

Three places run two jobs each, so you can switch without walking anywhere: Bloxburg Fresh Food, Bloxburg High School and Pizza Planet.

Which job pays best
None of them. That is not a dodge, it is what the update notes say. Version 0.12.6, released on April 25, 2024, listed “Added equal pay across all jobs” as a change.
The game wiki lists real pay figures for three jobs. Look at the last two columns and you can see it for yourself.

Pay per task swings 3.4 times between a pizza delivery and a classroom task. Pay per minute does not move at all.
That is the whole trick. A delivery pays more because it takes longer. Once you measure by the minute instead of by the task, the jobs line up exactly.
Careful with older guides. A lot of lists still rank the jobs and quote pay for job levels 20, 40 and 50. Update 1.15.0 in April 16, 2026 lowered the cap to level 10, so those levels are not in the game any more.
The other 11 jobs have no pay numbers written down anywhere yet, so you will not find them listed here. Any page showing a full 14 job pay ranking has filled in 11 of those rows itself.
What every job pays you for levelling up
Every job hands out the same rewards on the way to level 10. This ladder is the same whether you bake pizzas or drive the taxi.

That comes to $60,600 and 500 Blockbux per job, plus a plaque you can hang in your house.
The best free Blockbux in the game. Blockbux normally costs Robux. Taking all 14 jobs to level 10 hands you 7,000 Blockbux and $848,400 without spending anything.
What actually raises your pay
Your Total Work Experience level
This is the big one. It is a separate level that goes up to 100 and it climbs no matter which job you are doing.
It sets your pay per task and your pay per minute across every job at once. Each job also has its own level, capped at 10, but that one controls your reward payouts rather than your rate.
How fast you work, and your moods
The game rates how well you are working while you are on shift. Finishing tasks quickly is 70% of that rating and your moods are the other 30%.
So start a shift with your moods topped up and stop before they drain. Low moods pull the rating down, and the rating scales your pay for the whole shift.
Working near a friend helps too. Standing close to someone on your friends list gives you a status effect that makes moods drop at half speed.
School, for a permanent raise
Classes at Bloxburg High School raise your seniority, and each year adds a pay bonus that never goes away. Getting an A+ gives the most experience.

Finishing all four years is a permanent 20% raise for 3,200 experience in total, and you get a diploma at the end of senior year.
The Excellent Employee gamepass
This one costs 300 Robux and it is the only paid boost to your pay. It gives 1.5 times the cash and promotes you 2 times as fast.
You can check the multiplier in the table above. Every pay figure with the gamepass is exactly 1.5 times the one without it.
Mining is the one job with published numbers per item
The Miner job at The Bloxburg Cave is a bit different. Each ore is worth a set amount that grows with your Miner level.
In the table below, L means your current Miner level. Every block takes about 5 seconds to break.

Amethyst is worth L x 2 + 42 while plain rock is only L + 3. Aim for the coloured blocks and leave the grey ones alone.
TNT is the odd one out. It pays whatever the blocks caught in the blast were worth, and gives no job experience of its own.
How to make money fast in Bloxburg
Since no job pays more per minute, making money faster is about stacking the things that do change your rate.
Work on your Total Work Experience level first, because it lifts your pay in every job at the same time. Then keep your moods high while you work.
Finish school for the 20% bonus. It is slow, but it is permanent and it applies to every shift you ever work after that.
Pick the job you find least boring. You will play it for hours, and a job you enjoy is one you will actually keep levelling.
One thing to watch. Bloxburg ran a birthday event from July 31 to August 7, 2026 that raised job earnings for the week. If you read about boosted pay and cannot see it, that window has closed.
What the numbers tell us
The best paying job question has been settled for two years
Update 0.12.6 landed on April 25, 2024 and its notes say “Added equal pay across all jobs”. Anything that ranks the jobs by pay is describing the game as it was before that.
You can still pick a favourite. Just pick it for the tasks, the location or the moped, not for the money.
Per task and per minute are two different questions
A delivery pays $780 and a classroom task pays $230. That looks like a 3.4 times difference until you notice both jobs pay $79 a minute.
The delivery is simply a longer task. This is most likely why the old rankings felt right to people, and why they kept getting copied.
The gamepass multiplier is exact
Every documented figure with Excellent Employee is exactly 1.5 times the plain one. $780 becomes $1,170, $580 becomes $870, and $79 becomes $119.
So you can work out your own pay with the pass before you buy it. Take your current rate and add half.
Levelling every job is the biggest free reward in town
All 14 jobs taken to level 10 pay $848,400 and 7,000 Blockbux in bonuses alone, before counting a single shift of wages.
Blockbux is the currency you would otherwise buy with Robux, which makes this the largest free supply of it in the game.
