You open the kit menu in Bedwars, scroll past a hundred characters, and half of them have a lock on the corner. Some cost Robux. Some cost BedCoins. Some just say you missed them.
This page lists every kit in the game, what class it is, what it actually does, and exactly how you get it. It also tells you which ones you cannot get any more, so you stop hunting for them.
The quick answer
There are 113 kits in Bedwars right now. We counted them from the game wiki’s own kit lists. The wiki’s written summary still says 109, so it is a little behind its own tables.
Of those 113 kits, 64 can still be unlocked and 49 cannot. That is 43.4% of the roster locked away for good.
The short version. 48 kits can be bought any time for 399 Robux or 10,000 BedCoins each. 5 more are free or come from playing. Almost everything else was a battle pass reward, and most of those seasons are over.
The 8 kit classes
Every kit gets a class tag that tells you its job on the team. There are eight of them, and 111 of the 113 kits carry one.
Fighter is by far the biggest group. Defender is the smallest, so if you like guarding the bed you have the fewest options.
| Class |
Kits |
What it is for |
| Fighter |
34 |
Hits harder in a straight sword fight. |
| Support |
17 |
Heals, shields or speeds up teammates. |
| Economy |
16 |
Collects iron, gold and diamonds faster. |
| Ranged |
13 |
Attacks from far away instead of up close. |
| Movement |
12 |
Moves quicker, jumps higher or travels the map fast. |
| Destroyer |
8 |
Built to break through defences and reach a bed. |
| Tank |
6 |
Takes far more damage before going down. |
| Defender |
5 |
Makes your own bed much harder to break. |
Two kits, Marrow and Sophia, have no class tag on the wiki yet. That is why the class numbers add up to 111 and not 113.
What kits cost
You can pay with Robux or with BedCoins, which you earn by playing. There are three price levels.
| Kit type |
Robux |
BedCoins |
| A standard kit |
399 |
10,000 |
| A newly added kit |
479 |
12,000 |
| A former battle pass kit |
599 |
25,000 |
Watch the BedCoins price on old battle pass kits.
In Robux, an old battle pass kit costs 1.5 times a normal kit. In BedCoins it costs 2.5 times as much. So if you are spending coins you get a much worse deal on those, and if you are spending Robux the gap is small.
Buying all 48 of the always available kits would come to 19,152 Robux, or 480,000 BedCoins if you earned every one of them in game.
All 48 kits you can buy any time
These are the safe ones. They sit in the shop permanently and every single one costs the same: 399 Robux or 10,000 BedCoins. There is no cheap tier and no expensive tier here, so pick on playstyle, not price.

All 53 battle pass kits
Most Bedwars kits started life as a battle pass reward. You climbed the pass during a season and the kit unlocked at a certain level.
Some passes had a free track and a paid track. A kit on the free track cost nothing but time. Of these 53 kits, 24 were free track and 26 were paid track.
The important column is the last one. Once a season ends, its kits normally stop being available, and only 9 of these 53 are still listed as gettable.

Some old pass kits come back for sale.
Warrior and Jack both closed with their seasons. Both are now sold directly for 599 Robux or 25,000 BedCoins, and Hephaestus came back at the normal 399 Robux. So a locked pass kit is not always locked forever. It is just not something you can count on.
Bundle kits
Bundles are limited packs, usually sold around a holiday. They often include a kit plus extras, and when the sale ends the kit usually goes with it.

The 49 kits you can no longer unlock
This is the part no kit list usually tells you. 49 of the 113 kits are marked on the wiki as no longer available, and each one has the exact dates it was up for.
If a friend has one of these, they were playing during that window. You cannot buy them and no amount of grinding will unlock one.
A few do come back on sale later, the way Warrior and Jack did. That is the game’s choice though, so it is not something you can plan around.

How to play a kit you do not own
Being locked out of a kit is not the same as never getting to try it. There are three ways in.
1. The free weekly rotation
Three kits are free to use every week, and four once you hit player level 20. They swap every Friday. The rotation pulls from the whole roster, including kits nobody can buy any more.
On the week we checked, 3 of the 4 free kits were ones that can no longer be unlocked. That makes the rotation the most reliable way to actually try a locked kit.
2. Kit rental tickets
A rental ticket unlocks a kit for 3 days. They come out of Lucky Crates at the higher rarities, and sometimes from event shops.
The Battle Pass ticket rents any battle pass kit you do not own. The rarest one, the ALL ticket, rents any kit at all, which includes the locked ones.
Finishing the tutorial gives you a Beginner ticket. That one lasts 7 days and covers one of four starter kits: Barbarian, Builder, Archer or Baker.
3. Kit contracts
Some kits have a contract, which is a list of missions for that kit. You do not need to own the kit to start one, and you can still claim tiers 1, 2, 3 and 9 without owning it.
12 kits have a contract so far: Barbarian, Evelynn, Grim Reaper, Yuzi, Aery, Kaida, Milo, Whisper, Elektra, Adetunde, Marina and Void Knight.
The ability key almost every kit uses
Kits have an ability button, and you do not need to relearn it for each one. 35 kits have their key written down, and 30 of those 35 use R.
Only 5 kits skip R completely: Dino Tamer Dom, Noelle, Nyoka, Nyx and Uma. So if you pick up a new kit and do not know the button, press R.
10 kits have a second ability on another key, and 9 of those pair R with Q. That is the one to check for after R.
| Key |
Kits that use it |
| Q |
10 |
| R |
30 |
| V |
2 |
| X |
2 |
| Z |
1 |
These add up to more than 35 because a kit with two abilities appears on two rows.
What the full list actually tells you
Nearly every locked kit is a battle pass kit
Of the 49 kits you cannot unlock, 44 were battle pass rewards and only 5 were bundles. Battle passes are where kits go to disappear, because a season closing takes its whole kit list with it.
That is the argument for playing a pass while it is live. A kit you skip this season is far more likely to be gone than to come back on sale.
Buying kits with coins is not always the same deal
A normal kit is 399 Robux or 10,000 BedCoins, which works out at about 25 coins per Robux. An old battle pass kit is 599 Robux or 25,000 BedCoins, which is about 42 coins per Robux.
Same game, same shop, but the coin price climbs much faster than the Robux price. If you are saving coins, spend them on normal kits and they go further.
The roster leans hard on one class
Fighter holds 34 of the 113 kits, which is about 30% on its own. Defender has 5.
So there is plenty of choice if you like winning fights. There is very little if you like guarding the bed. Good to know before you spend.
Bedwars kits FAQ
How many kits are in Bedwars?
There are 113. We counted them from the wiki’s own kit lists. Its written summary still says 109, which is behind its own tables.
How much does a Bedwars kit cost?
Most cost 399 Robux or 10,000 BedCoins. Newly added kits are 479 Robux or 12,000 BedCoins, and old battle pass kits are 599 Robux or 25,000 BedCoins.
Which Bedwars kits can you not get any more?
49 of them, listed in full above with the dates each was available. 44 were battle pass rewards and 5 were bundle kits.
Can I still play a kit I missed?
Often yes. The free weekly rotation regularly includes locked kits, and a Mythic ALL rental ticket unlocks any kit for 3 days. You just cannot own it permanently.
How do I get kits for free in Bedwars?
