Last Updated: August 2026 | Win counts and gamepass prices checked against the live game.
Musical Chairs is the party game you already know, run as a Roblox round. Fourteen players walk around a ring of chairs while a song plays. The music cuts, everybody dives, and the one left standing is out. A chair vanishes each round until a single player is sitting.
It opened in October 2024 and has already passed 491 million visits. Roblox counts how many players have won once, five times, and all the way up to a hundred. That lets this page show exactly how hard each step really is.

How to Play Musical Chairs
There is nothing to learn before your first round. You will lose a few, and that is normal. This is the order that helps.
- Join a round and walk around the ring while the music plays.
- Listen, do not watch. The song stopping is your cue, and staring at the chairs will not warn you any earlier.
- When it stops, sit. Whoever misses out is done for that round.
- Keep going as chairs disappear each round. The last player sitting wins.
- Collect the coins you earn and spend them on pets, trails or chair skins.
- Redeem the free codes early, especially the chair skin one, since it never expires.
One real trick: walk the opposite way to the crowd. If everyone circles clockwise and you go the other way, you meet empty chairs head on rather than chasing them.
Musical Chairs Gameplay
Rounds are short. A whole game can be over in a couple of minutes, and your part in it can end in about three seconds. That speed is the appeal and it is probably also why the rating sits lower than most games this size.
Servers hold 14 players, so on pure luck you would expect to win about one game in every 14. Coins come from playing and more come from winning, and they only buy looks: pets, trails and chair skins. Nothing you buy with coins makes you faster.
The map runs several different mini-game rounds rather than one plain ring of chairs. That is why the teleport scripts written for this game carry a list of named spots.
How Far Players Actually Get
Every win milestone gives a badge, and Roblox publishes how many players hold each one. Lined up, they show exactly where people stop.

Only 1.8 times fewer, the gentlest step |
Start at the top. Over 162 million players have played, and 40 million have won at least once. That is about 1 in 4. Pure luck would give you 1 in 14, so most people clearly play only a handful of rounds.
Now the useful bit. The biggest single drop in the whole ladder is going from one win to five, where the numbers fall by 9.3 times. After that the steps get gentler and gentler.
By the top of the ladder it has almost flattened. Going from 75 wins to 100 only loses 1.8 times as many players. In other words the hardest win in this game is your fifth, not your hundredth. If you are stuck in single figures, you are exactly where nearly everybody gets stuck.
Only 6,087 players hold the 100 win badge. That is about 1 in every 26,691 people who have ever loaded the game.
Gamepasses and What They Cost
Thirteen passes are on sale and most of them are chairs and pets. Prices come straight from Roblox this week.
| Gamepass |
Price |
What it does |
| Space Pack |
9 Robux |
A space chair and pet. The cheapest thing in the game. |
| Auto Spin |
19 Robux |
Spins the wheel and skin crate for you. |
| Galaxy, Snow or Rainbow Pack |
19 Robux each |
One themed chair and one pet per pack. |
| Festive, Squid or Glitch Pack |
39 Robux each |
Same idea with different themes. |
| Easter Pack |
49 Robux |
An easter chair and pet. |
| Music Timer |
99 Robux |
Shows how long until the music stops. |
| VIP! |
149 Robux |
A nametag, an exclusive chair and an exclusive pet. |
| X2 Coins! |
199 Robux |
Doubles every coin you earn. |
| +25% Speed Boost |
199 Robux |
You run faster between the chairs. |
Two of these stand out because they touch the game rather than your look. The Music Timer tells you how long until the song stops, in a game where reacting to that stop is the entire skill. Auto Spin turns the skin crate for you.
Those are exactly the two things people go looking for a script to do. Here they are sold openly, for 99 and 19 Robux.
Only one pass has ever been pulled from sale. A Jump pass went up on launch day in October 2024 and came off at the end of January 2025. The speed boost from the same launch batch is still there.
Three Roblox Games Share This Name
This page is about the Musical Chairs made by Infinity Forge Interactive, the one with 14 players to a server. There is also 100 Players Musical Chairs, a much bigger lobby by a different maker, and a third game using the plain name again.
Nothing crosses over between them. Codes fail, scripts do nothing, and even the win badges are separate. If the lobby you are in holds a hundred people rather than fourteen, our 100 Players Musical Chairs page is the one you want.
Who Makes Musical Chairs
Musical Chairs comes from Infinity Forge Interactive, a Roblox group with the blue verified tick and about 179,000 members. The game launched in October 2024 and got its most recent update in June 2026. Reaching 491 million visits in under two years puts it among the fastest growing party games on the platform.
Tips for New Musical Chairs Players
- Do not walk in the same direction as everyone else. Going the other way around the ring means you meet chairs head on instead of chasing them.
- Pick a chair early and hover near it. Watching one seat beats watching all of them, especially in the first rounds when there are plenty.
- Getting your fifth win is the real wall. Only about 1 player in 9 who has won once ever reaches it, so do not judge yourself on your first few rounds.
- Grab secretchair before anything else. It is free, it never expires, and a chair skin stays on your account.
- Spend coins on what you like the look of, not on power. Coins only buy pets, trails and chair skins.
- If you want one paid edge, the Music Timer is the one that touches the actual game. Everything cheaper than it is decoration.
- Check you are in the right game. There are at least three called Musical Chairs, and codes and scripts do not cross between them.
Musical Chairs FAQ
Are there codes in Musical Chairs?
Yes, three of them work and none have ever expired. The Codes button sits at the top of your screen. One of the three gives a chair skin that stays on your account forever.
Is there a script for this game?
Yes, four work and two need no key at all. One of them is plain readable text you can check line by line before running it. Our script page covers each one.
How many players are in a game?
14. That means pure luck would win you about one round in every 14, though only about 1 player in 4 has ever won even once.
How hard is it to win 100 games?
Only 6,087 players have done it, roughly 1 in 26,691 of everyone who has played. The good news is the ladder flattens near the top, so the fifth win is harder to reach than the hundredth.
What do coins buy?
Pets, trails and chair skins. Coins are for looks only, so nothing you buy with them will help you get to a chair faster.
Is the Music Timer worth it?
It is the only paid item that changes how you play, since it tells you when the song will stop. At 99 Robux it costs more than the cheap chair packs and less than the coin doubler.
Is this the same as 100 Players Musical Chairs?
No. That is a separate game by a different maker with a much bigger lobby. Codes and scripts do not work across the two, and we cover it on its own page.
