Project RUSHER

Last Updated: July 2026  |  The songs, badges, and stats checked against the live game.

Project RUSHER is a music and rhythm game on Roblox. Songs play and notes fly across the screen, and you hit them right on the beat. It plays a lot like Muse Dash, where you smash circles in time with the music. What matters most here is your timing, not which button you press.

There is no level to beat and no story to finish. What you actually do is play songs, chase a clean score, and slowly climb your rating. This page covers how the game works, what a rhythm game even is, the rating badges you can chase, and simple tips to get you started.

How to Play Project RUSHER

There is no long tutorial, so here is the short version. Jump in, pick a song, and start hitting notes to the beat. Everything after that is about getting better.

  1. Join the game and wait for the lobby to load in around you.
  2. Pick a song from the list. Start with an easier one while you learn.
  3. Watch the notes fly in and tap right as they reach the hit line.
  4. Focus on your timing. Good timing is worth more than fast tapping.
  5. Try for a clean run with no misses to earn an accuracy badge.
  6. Play more songs to push your rating up and chase the rating badges.

Project RUSHER Gameplay Explained

The gameplay is all about timing. A song starts, and notes slide across the screen toward a hit line. Your job is to hit each one right as it lands there. The closer you are to the perfect moment, the more points you get. Miss the timing and you break your combo.

There is more than one kind of note. Some you just tap once. Some you hold down while the note stretches out. Some you catch or release at the right time. The game is free-form, so any kind of input counts as a hit. It is your timing that the game grades, not which key you press. All the songs are added by the team with permission from the artists, so you play their picked tracks rather than pasting in your own music.

What Is a Rhythm Game?

If you have not played one before, here is the idea. A rhythm game is a music game where notes appear in time with a song, and you press them on the beat. Think of games like Muse Dash, Friday Night Funkin, or the arcade classic Dance Dance Revolution. You are basically playing along with the music using your fingers.

The fun part is that you get better fast. At first the notes feel too quick. Then your brain learns the beat, and songs that felt impossible start to click. That is why players keep coming back. Every clean run feels like a small win, and there is always a harder song waiting.

Project RUSHER Badges and Ratings Explained

This game does not have gamepasses to buy. Instead, the badges are the real thing to collect, and most of them track how good you are. Your rating is your overall skill score. It goes up as you clear harder songs cleanly, a lot like the scoring in Arcaea. The game hands out a badge each time your rating passes a big number. Here is the full ladder, from the one everybody gets to the one almost nobody does.

Badge Players Who Earned It How Rare It Is
First step 6.65 million Everyone gets this. It pops the moment you hit your first note
500 Rating About 130,000 1 in 51 players. Your first real skill badge
1000 Rating About 34,000 1 in 193 players. You are getting good now
1500 Rating About 12,000 1 in 540 players. A solid rhythm player
2000 Rating About 4,700 1 in 1,410 players. Getting pretty rare
2500 Rating About 900 1 in 7,255 players. Only the best make it here
3000 Rating Only 127 ever 1 in 52,000 players. The rarest badge in the game

There are accuracy badges too. Finishing a song with no misses is common, at about 1 in 5 players. Getting a perfect 100 percent is rarer, at 1 in 15. And a special 101 percent badge, for an even cleaner than perfect run, has gone to only about 4,400 players, or 1 in 1,500. The takeaway is simple. Anyone can start, but the top badges are a real badge of honor.

Tips for New Project RUSHER Players

  • Start on the easy songs. Learn the timing before you jump to the fast ones.
  • Watch the hit line, not the whole screen. Hit each note right as it lands there.
  • Aim for a clean run over a fast one. No misses is worth more than button mashing.
  • Play with headphones if you can. Hearing the beat clearly makes your timing better.
  • Replay songs you like. Your rating climbs the most when you clean up a song you know.
  • Ignore fake code lists. There are no working codes, so any site posting them is making them up.

Project RUSHER FAQ

What do you do in Project RUSHER?

You play songs and hit notes in time with the beat, a lot like Muse Dash. You chase a high score, aim for clean accuracy, and push your rating up to earn badges. There is no level to beat, so you just get better at the songs.

Does Project RUSHER have codes?

No working codes are out right now, and no trusted site lists one. Anything you unlock comes from playing, not from codes. Our codes page explains it in full.

Can I add my own music?

No. All the songs are picked by the team with permission from the artists, so there is no box to paste your own audio ID into. You play the tracks that are already in the game.

What is the rarest badge?

The 3000 Rating badge. Only about 127 players have ever earned it, which works out to around 1 in 52,000. It means you reached a very high skill rating by clearing hard songs cleanly.

Is it free to play?

Yes. The game is free and no gamepasses came up when we checked, so you can jump in and start playing songs right away.

Is Project RUSHER good for beginners?

Yes. It has easier songs to start on, and rhythm games are fun to learn because you improve fast. Begin slow, focus on timing, and work your way up to the harder charts.
