Last Updated: July 2026 | The rhythm game, artist events, free items and every badge checked against the live game.
AVNU: Where Music Meets is an official music hangout on Roblox, built by Sony Music itself. You play a rhythm game in the arcade, wear free clothing from real music artists, learn about them in the Artist Spotlight, and dance with your friends using synced emotes. Every so often an artist takes the whole venue over with a new song and a free limited item to earn, which is the heart of the place.
There is no set goal here, which can throw players who expect a level to beat. What you actually do is chase 3 stars in Rhythm Battles, collect the free items that drop during artist events, and fill out a long badge list. This page covers the rhythm game, the artist takeovers, the free items and every badge, including how rare each one really is.

How to Play AVNU: Where Music Meets
There is no tutorial, so here is the short version. Spawn in, head to the arcade for the rhythm game, and keep an eye out for whichever artist is currently taking over the venue. Everything after that is up to you.
If you want things to chase, Rhythm Battles has a whole ladder of badges, and the artist events drop free limited clothing you cannot get any other way. Those two things are what most players come back for.
- Join the game and wait for the venue to load in around you. You spawn as your normal avatar in a shared space with other players.
- Head to the arcade and start a Rhythm Battle. Pick an easy difficulty first, since you only need 3 stars and any difficulty counts toward the badges.
- Check who is taking over the venue. If a Sony artist is featured, do their challenge or earn a UGC Ticket to claim a free limited clothing item before the event ends.
- Visit the Artist Spotlight and find all the trivia about the featured artist in one session for a Trivia Hunt badge.
- Open the emote menu and dance, then sync your emote with friends for a group routine on the dance floor.
- Team up with other players to activate all three effects in a zone for the Effect Ensemble badges.
AVNU: Where Music Meets Gameplay Systems Explained
| System |
How It Works |
| Rhythm Battles |
The rhythm game in the arcade and the main thing to do. You hit notes in time to the song to earn up to 3 stars, and getting 3 stars on songs unlocks a ladder of badges |
| Artist Takeovers |
Every so often a real Sony Music artist takes over the whole venue with a new song. Finishing their challenge or earning a UGC Ticket during the event hands you a free limited clothing item |
| UGC Merch Store |
A shop where you can try on and wear free clothing themed around the Sony artists who visit AVNU |
| Artist Spotlight |
A space to learn about the featured artist. Finding every piece of trivia about them in a single visit earns a Trivia Hunt badge |
| Emotes |
A menu of dances you can play, and you can sync them up with your friends so everyone dances together |
| Effect Ensemble |
A team activity. When enough players activate all three effects in the Park, the Arcade or the Artist Spotlight together, you summon a bubble party, an inferno or a storm, each with its own badge |
| Servers |
Up to 25 players per server, so events feel busy without being packed |
AVNU: Where Music Meets Artist Takeover History
The reason AVNU keeps changing its name is that real Sony Music artists take the venue over one at a time, each bringing their own songs, challenges and free items. Here is a run of the artists who have visited and the tracks they brought, pulled straight from the game’s own event badges. If you ever saw AVNU listed as “Ft. Creepy Nuts,” this table is why: that was simply the Creepy Nuts takeover, which brought the song Fright.

AVNU: Where Music Meets Rhythm Battles Badges and How Rare They Are
Here is something you will not find anywhere else. AVNU has no gamepasses at all, so its badges are the real thing to collect, and the Rhythm Battles badges form a skill ladder that Roblox lets us measure. Line each badge’s award count up against the 421 thousand players who have ever joined and you can see exactly how fast the skill drops off as songs stack up.

The short read: most people never even get the first one. Only about one player in sixteen ever earns 3 stars on a single song, and by the time you reach Specialist, for 3 starring twenty different songs, you are looking at roughly one in three thousand seven hundred players. That makes the top of this ladder one of the clearest skill flexes in any music game on Roblox. The team Effect Ensemble badges are rarer still on the storm end, and a seasonal Winter Trivia badge has been earned by only a few dozen people in the whole game.
How we worked this out: these are the public award counts Roblox shows for each badge, compared against the join badge. They are a strong stand-in for how rare each achievement is, rather than an official player report.
Tips for New AVNU: Where Music Meets Players
- Favorite AVNU and turn on notifications. Artist events drop free limited clothing for a short time only, so you want to know the moment a new one starts.
- Start Rhythm Battles on an easy difficulty. You only need 3 stars, and every difficulty counts the same toward the badge ladder, so there is no reason to make it hard on yourself.
- Aim for different songs, not the same one over and over. The badges count how many separate songs you have 3 starred, so Specialist needs twenty different tracks.
- You need to be 13 or older on your Roblox account to claim the free limited UGC items during events.
- Do the Artist Spotlight trivia in one sitting. The badge only counts if you find all of it in a single visit.
- Bring friends for the Effect Ensemble badges. They need several players activating the same effects together, so they are tough to solo.
- Do not pay expecting a boost. AVNU has no gamepasses at all, so every song, item and badge is free to reach.
AVNU: Where Music Meets FAQ
Does AVNU: Where Music Meets have codes?
No. There is no code box anywhere in the game, so there is nothing to redeem. The free items in AVNU come from playing during artist events instead, not from codes.
Is AVNU an official game?
Yes. It is made by Sony Immersive Music Studios, a verified Roblox group, and it features real songs and free items from actual Sony Music artists. It is not a fan copy.
How do I get the free clothes?
Play during an artist takeover event and either finish that artist’s challenge or earn a UGC Ticket, and the free limited item is yours to keep. You need to be 13 or older on Roblox to claim them.
Why does the game keep changing its name?
The name follows whichever artist is taking the venue over, so you might see it as AVNU Ft. Creepy Nuts or AVNU Ft. The Midnight. The base experience is always just AVNU: Where Music Meets.
There seem to be two AVNU games. Which one is this?
There is an older AVNU sitting at a different place link, sometimes called AVNU OG. This wiki covers the current, main AVNU by Sony Immersive Music Studios, which is the busy one that hosts the artist events.
What is the rarest thing to earn?
At the top of the Rhythm Battles ladder is Specialist, for 3 starring twenty different songs, earned by roughly one in three thousand seven hundred players. A seasonal Winter Trivia badge is rarer still, earned by only a few dozen people.
Is it free to play?
Yes. AVNU is free, and it has no gamepasses, so there is nothing you need to buy to see everything it offers.
